History: After the end of hostilities with Japan HMS Wakeful transported Prisoners of War from Sandai Bay (north of Tokyo) to Sydney, Australia. Lady Mountbatten was the Re-patriation Officer. Captain of HMS Wakeful at that time was George Pound.
