Applications for campaign medals will require the applicant to provide a supporting copy of the service record of the individual concerned.

The DNPers Disclosure Cell is a Department within the Naval Secretary organisation and is not open to the members of the public.  Service record or medal requests should be made by completing the appropriate application form, or where the enquiry is of a more general nature, by writing to the appropriate organization concerned.  The Ministry of Defence will normally only release the information given in service records to the subjects of those records, or to their next of kin; and it may charge a search fee, which is non re-fundable.
